The entire kitchen had a stark, unbalanced feeling due to an inefficient layout and an outdated, contemporary stepped-ceiling. Our client requested an environment that would be warm as well as more functional.
A new interior wall was built in the kitchen allowing a recess for two refrigeration units and creating an axis and centerlines in the room. A new dining room passage was added with two tall recessed display units, creating the sense of a contemporary butler’s pantry. Our custom hood and professional cook-top table designs were centered on the island, creating a second axis. Finally, the new stainless steel and wood ceiling grid finishes this impressive kitchen.
